For more than 35 years, the Bowman Global Enterprise Group has been involved in training public safety
responders and private groups in the fields of fire safety, hazardous materials, incident management and
worldwide operations technology.
Courses developed and implemented by Bowman Global have been used exclusively by organizations
both nationally and internationally. Currently, material from our programs are being used in more than 21
states.
In addition to training, Bowman Global has been involved in an innovative process to develop disaster
mitigation on a large scale. Dr. Dave Bowman was the Operations Officer during the development of a
company to conduct disaster mitigation. He was responsible for developing and managing the
organization of the first ever agreement with the 15 skilled trades, in response to Hurricanes Bonnie and
Georges, in North Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. Additionally, he served as a Team Leader in
Mitigation, for FEMA, in response to Hurricane Katrina in various locations in Mississippi.
Dr. Bowman worked closely with the Secretary of Government in Pingxion Province, China, to develop
safety and quality assurance programs for the Chinese pyrotechnics industry. He was also instrumental
in establishing CFIG (the China Firework's Testing Group) to improve fireworks safety and quality.
